FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(ATLANTA, GA – 16 JULY 2010) On Thursday, July 29, Adidas at Lenox Square Mall will
host a free event showcasing international photographer, Kat Goduco’s most recent
collection entitled “What Lies Beneath.” Typically, Kat fuses various artistic forms such as
dance, music and spoken word pieces with her collection. In an attempt to educate
and entertain her audience, she reveals other methods of art – beyond her own
photography – to help convey her chosen form of expression.
Kat Goduco creates visions that come to life and July’s event will be no exception. Over
20 portraits of local tattooed Atlantans including executives, entrepreneurs, athletes, DJs
and attorneys will be on display for one night only at the Adidas store in Lenox Square
Mall. When asked why the mall for an art exhibit – Kat simply replies, “Retail is something
that’s accessible to everyone and that’s how I feel art should be.” This will be the fifth
exhibit she has presented at the Adidas store.
The interactive evening is complete with music by DJ Dibiase, live dance choreographed
by Jessica Gaines, live musical performances including Leaf – winner of Welcome To
Dreamland, and a Tattoo Wall of Fame. Guests will also enjoy complimentary hydration
courtesy of Vitamin Water Zero. There will be gift bags for the first 100 guests and an in-
store discount throughout the evening. As an extension of the Butterfinger marketing
team, Kat – a former Butterfinger FUNtern – will give away some tasty treats, too!
RSVP to the event for an opportunity to win a FREE photo shoot with Kat Goduco.
