MillerCoors presents the 2nd Annual T.A.P. Awards honoring Terri J. Vaughn, Verse Simmonds & more 10.27.11




Atlanta's socialites and key influencers attended the MillerCoors T.A.P. Awards, hosted by Ramona Debreaux (Radio Personality, V-103) and Dennis "Ale Sharpton" Byron (Beer Connoisseur). The MillerCoors T.A.P. Awards was created on the premise of bringing the MillerCoors portfolio of beers, America knows and loves, to life. The 2011 award recipients included: Terri J. Vaughn (Actress, Owner of The Green Room Actor's Lounge), Verse Simmonds (Recording Artist, Konvict/Bu Vision/Def Jam) and many more of MillerCoors key accounts in the Atlanta Market. This years non-profit beneficiary was the Atlanta Urban League Young professionals and they received an onsite financial contribution courtesy of MillerCoors. Over 400 attendees had a chance to participate in the signature MillerCoors "Every Day | Every Way" experience with unique and interactive engagements featuring an array of the MillerCoors portfolio of brands including, Berry Weiss, Blue Moon, Coors Light, Miller Light and Peroni Italy.

African Pride Supports Ebony Steele's Bare Chest 4 Breast Cancer

According to the American Cancer Society, 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. In celebration of her 4-year survivorship, Ebony Steele, co-host of the Rickey Smiley Morning Show, hosted the 2nd Annual Bare Chest for Breast Cancer Runway Event at 595 North in downtown Atlanta. Proceeds from this event are donated to the Susan G. Komen Circle of Promise, where Ebony serves as a national ambassador.

Guests that arrived early where pleasured to attend the African Pride Gifting Suite including pampering services from manicurists and makeup artists; gifted items from fashion boutiques; courtesy hand, foot and back massages; complimentary champagne and hors d'oeuvres finished with sweet dessert treats. The all male runway show featured designs from Ken Barber Signature, Shaka King New York, Kickboard Kouture, DTLR, Lee Gregory and D&K Suit City.
