BlackCelebrityGiving.com and The Gidewon Group Present the #GivingIsGoodAwards Sponsored by Don Julio Tequila 6.27.201
BlackCelebrityGiving.com & The Gidewon Group honored key influential charity foundations at the 2013 “Giving is Good” Awards on Thursday, June 27th at Vanquish Lounge in Atlanta, Ga. The lovely Ramona Debreaux (Multi-media personality for V-103/Centric TV), served as the mistress of ceremonies for the evening. Among the inaugural "Champions of Good" who were honored are: The Big Kidz Foundation (Antwan "Big Boi" Patton), Families First, The GreenHouse Foundation (Ceelo Green), Take Wings Foundation (Actress Terri J Vaughn), Urban League of Greater Atlanta-Young Professionals, and The Enchanted Closet. All of these foundations are committed to making the world a better place, socially, economically & professionally. The Cosmopolitan Affair featured live performances by The Cori Lamont Experience. Throughout the evening, guests overflowed the donation baskets with bags filled with clothes and shoes. Guests enjoyed delicious complimentary hors d'oeuvres and $5 Don Julio signature cocktails all night. Partial proceeds from all Don Julio signature cocktails were given to the 2013 “Giving is Good” Honorees.
