Book Launch And Tasting For The Food Network's Culinary Competitor Nikki Bell, star of "America's BestCook" 04.13.14

This private book signing and launch event will infuse a delectable tasting of freshly prepared food by Nikki, cooking demos, cocktails courtesy of Cat Vodka, and the revealing of her all new spice line titled "Soul for Real" featuring four her of her favorite spice blends. This signing and food tasting will take place on Sunday, April 19th at 8:00pm and SAS Sky Lounge. 
  
Throughout the pages of  "A Bit of This, A Bit of That: Comfort Food for the Eclectic Soul", readers will find over a variety of 30 recipes revolutionizing southern classics with a Caribbean twist and an eclectic remake of traditional comfort foods. From coconut curry fried chicken with mango chutney to the slow, braised country style ribs with Dr. Pepper BBQ sauce to the savory plantain casserole with a cheesy crust and her Granny's maple cake with tangy, cream cheese frosting and candied bacon, Nikki's rustic and comforting recipes are bound to bring any family back to the dinner table.
  
Nikki believes food tastes better when it is freshly prepared and shared with the ones you love.  Many of her recipes have been collected and recreated over the years and bought to life with beautiful photographs and heart-felt stories of their inception from generation to generation.  
  
Nikki's "Soul for Real Seasonings" will include hand blended, flavorful seasonings using the freshest dried herbs, spices and sea salt. The collection will include Jerk me baby! Jerk Seasoning, Herbaceous Glory Herbal Seasoning, Seasonin' All purpose seasoning and Lemon Head: Lemon & Garlic Pepper Seasoning.
