I AM ATLANTA CAMPAIGN

Atlanta's Young Professionals Unite to Launch the "I Am Atlanta" Campaign
An effort to spark discussion, encourage responsibility and channel a positive focus toward the need to support Grady Health System.
ATLANTA, GA - October, 2007 - Atlanta's Young Professionals are set to launch an advertising and public information campaign calling upon a new generation to take action regarding the concerns surrounding Grady Memorial Hospital. Realizing that many people do not understand the full scope of Grady Health System or its regional impact, Bluorchid by Naked Eye Image, The Garner Circle, GLUE, Inc., Kimberly and Cameron Interiors, AW Media Group, Brandi Ray Personal Training, 135th Street Agency, Keisha Williams Special Events, Inspire Communications and more will introduce a new campaign called I AM ATLANTA: Give. Love. Freely. The desired result is that all persons living in or visiting Metro Atlanta might join together to contribute to Grady Health System and its sustainment. The "I AM ATLANTA" unveiling VIP & media reception will take place Wednesday, November 7th from 7pm until 9pm at Nani Salon & Spa in Atlantic Station.
The campaign, appropriately titled "I AM ATLANTA" will debut this winter via television, web, radio, print, and through special events around the city. Powerful imagery and non-traditional marketing will be utilized to capture consumers' attention in order to get them thinking or talking about giving back and activism for Atlanta's younger demographic. The campaign will send the message of social responsibility to new audiences and will present a challenge to take a community stance.
Soliciting the support of Atlanta's diverse industries from entertainment to politics, the "I AM ATLANTA" campaign sets its multi-million fundraising goal in an effort to offset Grady Memorial Hospital's rising deficit. The campaign's premise is simple, yet powerful, with 2007-2008 projects consisting of Harts 4The Holidays, 7 Days of Giving, and other programs created to heighten awareness.
