ONE MusicFest announces "State of the Atlanta Music Scene" Press Conference and Roundtable at Park Tavern
Atlanta (Pitchengine.com) July, 2011 -The Mayor's Office of the City of Atlanta welcomes the second annual ONE MusicFest. As seen on CNN, Vibe Magazine, the Atlanta Journal Constitution and more, the ONE MusicFest indoor/ outdoor concert experience and seafood fest will take place in over 20,000 square feet of green space at the beautiful Park Tavern concert space. This week, ONE MusicFest organizers to host the "State of the Atlanta Music Scene". "There is a lack of representation for soul, progressive hip-hop, alternative and rock, represented under one roof, in the format of music festivals in Atlanta. We have noticed that while there are many pockets of individuals that share taste in the same music, rarely do you see them share in this together. ONE MusicFest was created with the idea of music as the universal language. Over time we aim to grow this fest into a phenomenon and bring together different sectors of individuals through a unique music platform," states J Carter, Sol -Fusion Founder and ONE MusicFest Producer.
This year's festival will feature live performances from: The Foreign Exchange, Anthony David, Tortured Soul, and The Pharcyde. The ONE Musicfest non-profit partner will the Atlanta Music Project - a representative will be on site to discuss this year's music instrument drive. There will be a special live performance from ONE Musicfest featured artist, Anthony David and a welcome presentation from the City of Atlanta Mayor's Office at the ONE Musicfest press conference & music community round table on Thursday, July 21, 2011 at Park Tavern in Atlanta, GA.
